On the Lamb...
"Travels" doesn't need a definition. You know what it means. We wander. And we get lost. And then we discover that being lost is more fun than whatever we meant to do in the first place.
In Vietnam, we were hijacked into making New Year's dinner with our landlady's extended family. In Cambodia, our hotel room tried to eat us alive. In the Republic of Korea, Erin gave contact sports a try for the first time in her life (and discovered she had a taste for violence). And at a Buddhist shrine outside Yangon, a pair of little old men cheerfully tried to steal our shoes.
We didn't plan any of that. It just kind of happened. Going somewhere new usually felt like we'd tripped and fallen face first into someone else's culture. Was it always fun? No. But it was always, always interesting.
