We Got a New Camera

Not too long ago, our folks helped us buy a new camera. Our old camera was a simple point and shoot, and though it was okay, it never really captured the kind of beautiful images we were seeing when we went travelling. We ended up getting a Canon 600D with a couple of lenses, one for wide angle shots of landscapes, and one that was pretty good for close-up, portrait style work. The other day, it was a bit overcast and grey. The diffuse sunshine made for some nice, even lighting, so we decided to take the camera out for a spin. We took shots of pretty much anything that caught our eye. Here's what we got.

So in a lot of ways, this post is a thank you. Thank you Bill and Kathy and Sarah. Thank you John and Ann Marie. Thank you for helping us get a new camera. We'll make sure to take lots and lots of pictures!
